Welcome to our online home. Metropolitan Community Church was founded in 1968. Our congregation in London has been a proud part of London's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history for more than thirty years. We are glad that you found us, and hope that you will find information here that is helpful and encouraging.

We're ecumenical - that means that our participants come from many church backgrounds - Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical and none. We're international - part of a fellowship of Christians that has worship centres in more than twenty five countries, on every continent.

Whereas we seek to be a spiritual home for lesbian, gay and transgendered people, our welcome extends to all who would share our commitment to be an inclusive, welcoming congregation. We also seek to be a community partner in making our city a safer, more diverse, and more tolerant place.

This site is just a snapshot of who we are. From time to time we will update it with new information. However, we invite you to visit us at our Wellington Street location, each Sunday at 7.00 p.m. We hope you'll soon realize that MCC London is a great and friendly place to be - and not your ordinary church.
